Description
| The Caravelle was sold from 1959 (as the Floride) until 1968 it shares many of the same mechanical parts with the 8 & 10 although it was actually based on the Dauphine. My Caravelle was bought new by a farmer in Essex at the 1968 Earls Court Motor Show. He used the car over the next 10 years, covering over 60,000 miles until he pushed it into a barn and left it. Luckily, the barn was dry and only a light restoration was needed when I bought it from him in 1996. The bodywork on these cars is actually incredibly complex and if it has been allowed to rot the cost of repairs will far outweigh the value of the car. |
