Description

You either love or hate Saffron Yellow. Thankfully I'm of the former persuasion. Mechanically this car is in tip top condition with a new chassis. I'm not a bodywork person so the overall finish is tidy rather than concours. This car is the 150bhp CP model and has overdrive on 2, 3 and 4. He (Tommy) was built on 11 August 1971 and despatched to the dealer in Croydon on 20 August 1971. He was first registered for the road on 20 September 1971. I have masses of history on this car including the original sales receipt and most of the MoT certificates. In February 1995 I became its 5th owner.

Modifications

Unleaded cylinder head conversion. Fast road camshaft and vernier timing gear. Stainless single pipe exhaust including lagged tubular manifold. Bosch fuel pump. Tubular gas rear shock absorbers. Revolution 5 spoke alloy wheels. Finned alloy brake drums at the rear. Revington drive shafts. Suspension lowered about 1 inch and Poly bushed all round including the differential. Alloy steering rack mounts. Roll over bar. Burr maple dash and door cappings.
