this is the most desirable model mercedes sl
the one that all other sl owners wish they had!
it has the lighter 6 cylinder 3 litre engine, which does give it better handling and fuel economy than the thirsty v8's.
this is a powerful lump and will easily cruise into three figures.
being one of the last 300sl's produced and first registered on 22/05/1989 it has the benefit of

it drives like a dream and has recently had all new rubber inlet hoses and inlet manifold gasket (from mercedes) a specially made oil cooler hose.
in addition it has had a new rear hood cover rubber - although i have not glued it in, anticipating a full re-spray.
the centre bulkhead has been replaced, as it had suffered the usual rotten spot - rust treated & sprayed, all cavities filled with waxoil. (i have full pictures available of the work done)
the floor has also been zinc coated inside.
it comes with a full set of genuine mercedes body manuals, specific engine manual & mercedes handbook, all cost me over £250.00 last month!
