Description
| My TR6 was manufactured on the 10th. August 1972 but was not sold until 28th.June 1973. I bought the car in 1979. It is the CP model with "A" type overdrive on 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears.150 bhp 2.5 litre Lucas petrol injected engine. Subject to a total restoration, keeping entirely to the original factory specification, from 1980 until 1986. Originally Triumph White I changed the colour to Pimiento Red. It has won many prizes in Benson and Hedges , TR Register and European Concours de Elegance competetions. It has also been featured in books and magazines. After 21 years, it is still in excellent condition and still runs like a TR6 should do and is even economical with fuel. |

Hints/Tips
| My advice is, if you are looking to buy a TR6, either buy the cheapest i.e. suitable for restoration if you have the experience and time or the best you can afford, anything in the middle will more than likely require some restoration work sooner or later, more than likely sooner. If you know someone who understands the model take him with you to look at any potential purchase. |
